Wash, decontaminate, clay
A full hand wash, iron and tar removal, then clay. The coating has to bond to bare clear coat, not to whatever is sitting on it.

Polish if needed
Any correction happens now, while the paint is still accessible. Once the coating cures, whatever is underneath is sealed in for years.

Panel wipe and apply
The paint is wiped down to strip every polishing oil, then the coating is applied panel by panel and levelled in a tight window before it flashes.

Cure
The coating needs to stay dry while it hardens. You get exact instructions for the first week — mainly keep it out of the rain at first, and off the brush washes for good.

How long does a ceramic coating last?+
Full ceramic is two to three years. Hybrid ceramic is twelve months or more. Both depend on how the car is washed afterwards — hand washing with a pH-neutral soap keeps a coating alive far longer than brush washes do.
Does ceramic coating stop scratches?+
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. It resists light marring and chemical etching from bird droppings and road salt. It will not stop a stone chip or a key.
Why does the price range so widely?+
Because the preparation does. A two-year-old car in good condition needs far less work than a ten-year-old daily driver with oxidized paint, and the coating cannot go on until the paint is right. You get the exact number after we see the car.
Can I still take it through a car wash?+
Touchless, yes. Brush washes will dull the coating and put swirls back into the paint under it, which defeats the point of having paid for it.
